Beautiful photos! I have never heard of the orange nasturtium but I would love to get one. Do you think it would thrive in the Bay Area?
Almost everything thrives in the Bay Area. You can easily grow nasturtiums from seed. They usually come in a mix of warm colors, but you might be able to find some that are all orange. Some are relatively compact plants, while others are trailing (vine-like). They do well in poor soil. These are planted next to our house, between the foundation and the driveway, in soil that’s pretty much the opposite of rich.
